Oddly enough, in spite of three days of fairly serious hiking, I feel just fine. A hot bath and a good night's sleep appeased my knee, and only my feet had a little lingering soreness. Yesterday evening, even after a long day at work, I was still full of energy and felt just dandy.
Jeff, on the other hand, felt great on the hike but is now feeling pain from his left ankle, which might keep him on the bench for most of this week.
This is one of the differences between Jeff and myself; I'm willing to push myself, but not to the point where I risk injury. (He says he just doesn't feel the pain because of the endorphin rush.)
