I have a couple of things to say about the pies Jeff and I made last weekend.
First, Jeff's joke, about the pot pie, which was in a 9×13 glass baking dish: This time, pie are rectangled!
Secondly, the pumpkin pie has been absolutely delicious, especially with freshly whipped cream. Fortunately for Jeff, who loves pumpkin pie, I went a little overboard with the pumpkins, because I didn't realize how little pumpkin flesh is actually needed for a pie. So we have some pumpkin puree in the fridge and another whole pumpkin in the basement, both waiting to be pie. I think this will be my contribution to Thanksgiving dinner.
Hmm, maybe I have time, either this evening or tomorrow after work, to make another pie?
