Apparently pro-war people don't want to be called that; they would prefer to be called pro-troop.
Excuse me? How is it supporting our troops to send them overseas to get shot at? There is a sign in the front window of my house which expresses my sentiments exactly: Support U.S. Troops: Bring 'em home!
And don't get me started on the things that people are telling their kids about the war. God help me, when I have children, I will teach them to know rationalism from propaganda.
But bravo Tom Daschle for not backing down on his dissent!
And on the home front, my nose is doing a little better (congealing rather than running constantly — this is progress!), and my fever may have passed, although my cough has gotten worse.
Kevin says:
I object to pro-troop on the grounds that it's insulting to us anti-war folk. I'm quite tired with some pro-war folk claiming that anti-war people don't have any concern for the troops. I may not agree with the war but I want all the soldiers from all the countries to go home safely at the end of it.
